Jessie and Josh are two of my favorite humans. I photographed their snowy engagement session and then one of my favorite lifetime weddings (yes - this amazeballs one - LINK) at NP. When they asked me to document a stepping stone in their journey to being parents with them and their surrogate Annie (Josh's wonderful sister), I was SO EXCITED...especially after Jessie sent me her detail inspiration board!! Although their path hasn't been an easy and direct one, I know that it is the one that must be meant to be. I can't wait to meet little baby Turan next May!

In addition to the couple maternity portraits of Sarah and Luke, we spent a little time doing a few more intimate portraits of Sarah and her sweet belly. After taking these (and totally loving them!) I think I may need to spend a little bit more time actually taking photos in my studio. ;)

There is nothing better than when I find out one of my wedding couples is expecting a baby. Sarah and Luke will have a beautiful little newborn girl soon and I am so happy for them! And I might be a little too obsessed with her unicorn booties...cutest thing ever! :) Part two with some softer portraits of Sarah coming soon!
